Amoeba Proteus
Proteus, like the amoeba, could change into anything he wanted. Any creature, any being, any plant... as far as I'm concerned. That was more or less all the information I found on him, but I didn't look very hard, since it's not directly related to my topic. But, while I'm at it, I might as well tell you what the word amoeba comes from. The Greek word amoibe means "to change." Proteus was a god, amoibe means to change.
